First off let me say I have always been a Tony Romo fan. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and a grounded individual. But if he wants to be a multi-million dollar quarterback in the NFL, he has to take the good with the bad. Apparently he doesn’t like being asked about his relationship with the lovely Jessica Simpson.
I did a one on one interview with Tony on Sports Extra last Sunday and he seemed to be grumpy about having to do a series of interviews with reporters around the country. And when I asked, nicely, I may add, about Jessica he seemed to get annoyed. Tony needs to realize the majority of viewers, not sports fans, want to know about Jessica. And the sports fans simply want to know if she is a distraction. He certinly has a right to date whoever he wants. Cowboy fans also have a right to hope, his girlfriend is not a “distraction.”
Tony needs to learn how to just deal with it. He is a “celebrity” quarterback, whether he likes it or not. I’m sorry for asking, but when you do an interview with Tony, it is the one question that has to be asked. If you don’t ask it, the reporter looks like an idiot.

Perhaps Tony knows good and well that his relationship with Jessica is going sour, and the fact that they somehow are still together, he is getting all grumpy that he should just end the relationship!?!? One can only hope. Out of the 2 of them, I like Tony. He seemed level headed and humble until he started dated that trainwreck ditz Jessica. He needs to get out now!!! He also needs to mature a bit and know that his life as the celebrity QB will entail everything, so he just needs to answer it or remain silent and go on about his life. And, yes, in my opinion, Jessica is a distraction and not an ideal match for him! Cut her loose so that she can continue to bring down her own career and not Tony’s!

Tony doesn’t want to be bothered being asked about his celebrity girlfriend , yet she talks to EVERYONE about him. He loves the celebrity life (more than football) or he would change that.
He’s all an act.
